Pet Loss
Kathryn experienced the loss of her "precious" in late June, 2004 and she still grieves. So many wonderful readers and friends reached across the vast web to share experiences and offer comfort that Kathryn has built a permanent page on her site dedicated to the loss of pets. The page was built as a memorial to her little dog Muffy, but it is for anyone who seeks solace from the sorrow that only another pet lover can understand.

Personal Note: On November 30, 2002, I had the distinct privilege of attending a performance of Macbeth in London. Because December 1st was declared World AIDS Day, Julian Glover gave a very impassioned speech regarding England's plight with this dreaded disease. Both Broadway Cares in the U.S. and TheatreCares, in cooperation with Crusaid in Great Britain, have made substantial contributions to AIDS research.
